Change of plans...

A couple days ago I wrote a post updating you all on our littleLover...

but there has been a slight major change of plans!

In a matter of a week...everything has changed and quite frankly

I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT!!!

So instead...

I decided to update you on a few projects that have taken place over the last couple of months!

First...we DIY'd a new ottoman for our living room redo!

Here is how it went down:

Step 1: Cut {or have the hubs cut} MDF to the size you want

 Step 2:  We purchased the legs from Lowes and attached via the hardware seen below

 {I don't know what it is called}

Step 3:  Start layering foam.

{We used spray adhesive to keep from shifting and then added 2 layers of batting over top}

 Step 4:  Line up your fabric and start stapling!

{Always good to enlist extra hands for this part!}

well you will have to wait until the final living room reveal!

{Ok...honestly, I just forgot to snap the pic of the final product}

Also, you will see these babies in the living room pics once I post them!

These were my SPLURGE..

well the chairs were given to me by these two lovebirds...

 {they are always making out!!!}

...and I splurged and had them reupholstered!

They are by far my favorite thing in the room!

But...no pictures of them yet either!

I think it is important to see the whole room at one time!!

 I do promise to update you all on our little man as soon as we make some decisions!
